Within the historic town of Dorking a distinctive aroma of hops hangs in the air, announcing the arrival of Dorking's very own brewery.
Dorking Brewery are proud to announce their "Red India Ale" was voted best beer at the Guildford Beer Festival held on 14-15 August 2010. The festival was held at Guildford Cricket Club and was attended by over 1500 people. This is our second award after our Ruby ale won last year at Woking beer festival.
On 1st September 2010 a new shop is opening in West Street, Dorking. Cobbets Real Ale will be selling a range of bottled ales including DB One. They will also be selling straight from the cask our Red India Ale and DB Number One. In various size containers. Now you can take home our award winning ales.
We are pleased to say that our Gold ale will be available at Reds Bar and Lounge, Dene Street, Dorking.
We are always looking for ways to improve our ales and with this in mind we have made some changes to our Gold ale. We have changed the hop variety and the way the ale is made, hopefully you will enjoy the difference.
